E-Safety

Access to IT and the internet offers considerable learning benefits to students. It is critical that students understand that learning is the purpose of access to the Allestree Woodlands School network. Using IT effectively for learning will have a significant positive impact on progress and attainment.

This E-Safety Policy, together with the Responsible Use Policy (RUP), Behaviour and Safeguarding Policies helps protect students, staff and the school by clearly stating what is acceptable and what is not. These statements refer both to computer equipment based in school and to school laptops assigned for use both at school and at home.
